Collection: Brooches & Dress Clips

This collection of vintage McClelland Barclay Art Deco brooches and dress clips features a variety of sterling silver or sterling vermeil flora and fauna motifs like the bar brooch and dress clips (shown). The more bold and glamorous Art Moderne designs have rhinestones set in gold or rhodium plated metal, or in more rare silvertone metal.

How to wear vintage brooches and dress clips: Some brooches have bales which allow them to be worn on a chain or cord as a pendant necklace. And you can be creative in how you wear dress clips be pinned to a collar, sweater, scarf, or hat. Many of these designs are also available as bracelets or necklaces.

Rare finds & discoveries: McClelland Barclay costume jewellery is rare because it was made only between 1938 - 1943.  Find much more in my book, or read my blog about the jewellery maker new revelations about Rice-Weiner & Co..
