This is a large 1940s spiral brooch with red rhinestones, clear baguettes and  grey pavé rhinestones. The spiral shape creates a dramatic look. The same Art Moderne design is also available as a spiral cuff bracelet or a spiral dress clip. All three pieces are shown on p. 122 of my book.
