This vintage 1940 McClelland Barclay spiral brooch has purple rhinestones, clear baguettes and clear pavé rhinestones. The spiral shape creates a dramatic look. A version of this spiral brooch with red rhinestones is also available. This brooch was made by Rice-Weiner & Co., and is shown on p.122 of my book.
