McCLELLAND BARCLAY Bronze Lamb Cigarette Box

McCLELLAND BARCLAY Bronze Lamb Cigarette Box

A young lamb seems to frolic atop this wood-lined hinged metal box. This vintage Art Deco bronze plated box would have been originally intended for cigarettes, but it can be used for trinkets or other small items. Lambs are among the animals in other small bronze statuettes made by McClelland Barclay Art Products, Inc. in the 1930s. Lambs motifs are also found in McClelland Barclay costume jewellery, such as this sterling silver lamb brooch.
