McCLELLAND BARCLAY Donkey Ink Blotter
McCLELLAND BARCLAY Donkey Ink Blotter
This bronze-plated metal donkey ink blotter was one of a series of figurine-topped ink blotters made in the 1930s by McClelland Barclay Art Products, Inc. A useful device to avoid ink smudges for those who are fountain pen users. The donkey figurine also makes a great analogue desk accessory, and perhaps a political conversation piece. Paper refills not supplied, but are readily found.
