McCLELLAND BARCLAY Sterling Silver Art Deco Fish Brooch

McCLELLAND BARCLAY Sterling Silver Art Deco Fish Brooch

This sterling silver Art Deco fish brooch is not often seen. It has a particular connection to the artist, for McClelland Barclay loved the sea and all things nautical. This included fishing. One of his first summer jobs involved collecting fish species for the US Bureau of Fisheries at Woods Hole, MA.

Read about his lifelong connection to the ocean in my biography of McClelland Barclay, or in this blog post: "The Beauty of Block Island and the Power of the Sea"
