McCLELLAND BARCLAY Sterling Silver Repoussé Deer and Pine Cone Bracelet

McCLELLAND BARCLAY Sterling Silver Repoussé Deer and Pine Cone Bracelet

Flora and fauna motifs are found in many McClelland Barclay Art Deco sterling silver jewellery pieces like this deer and pine cone bracelet. Links with pine cones and pine needles alternate with four oval links showing a deer in front of a pinecone and pine needles. The very Art Deco-looking links have been made in the repoussé style, where the silver is hammered from behind, a technique often seen in quality handmade Mexican vintage silver jewellery. Similar evergreen forest motifs are also found on this sterling pine cone pendant.
