McCLELLAND BARCLAY Goldtone and Green Metal Horse and Abstract Tree Brooch

McCLELLAND BARCLAY Goldtone and Green Metal Horse and Abstract Tree Brooch

This rare horse brooch should appeal to equestrian lovers. A raised goldtone young horse stands in front of an abstract tree. The tree is enamelled in green and plated in gold creating an interesting background. This is another of the very scarce all-metal vintage McClelland Barclay designs available in my store. Horse lovers may also like the double horsehead brooch, the mare and colt brooch, or this pair of gold-plated horsehead bookends from the 1930s.

Year Made: 1938 - 1943

Condition: good vintage with plating wear on the back and some wear to the horse
