McCLELLAND BARCLAY Bronze Plated Lamb Figurine

McCLELLAND BARCLAY Bronze Plated Lamb Figurine

This small bronze-plated figurine of a young lamb seems to be frolicking for joy. Made in New York during the 1930s by the artist's own metal decorative art company, McClelland Barclay Art Products, Inc. A similar lamb is found atop a bronze-plated metal cigarette or trinket box. Artist McClelland Barclay created a series of small Art Deco figurines or statuettes with different finishes, including an owl, a spaniel and a seahorse. All make wonderful desk companions! You can find more little lambs in sterling silver jewellery too!
