MCCLELLAND BARCLAY Gold Plated "Romance" Cigarette Box
Two Art Deco stylized figures in an embrace are atop this McClelland Barclay "Romance" gold-plated cigarette box. This vintage metal box was made in New York in the 1930s by McClelland Barclay Art Products, Inc. It can be used as a trinket box or simply as a wonderful example of Art Deco design for display on a desk or bookshelf. Another romantic-theme is found in this Art Deco bronze cigarette box with decorative love birds.
Year Made: 1930s
Condition: fair vintage (top lid is separated from the bottom; one hinge is broken and the other is missing a pin; gold plating shows signs of age and wear)
