MCCLELLAND BARCLAY Cigarette Box with Decorative Birds

Two stylized love birds perch close together atop this vintage Art Deco bronze-plated metal cigarette box. This hinged wood-lined decorative box would have been originally intended for cigarettes, but it can be used today for trinkets or other small items. It was one of several designs, including another "Romance" cigarette box with stylized Art Deco lovers figurines. They were made in New York in the 1930s by the artist's own company, McClelland Barclay Art Products, Inc. Add your own love note for a romantic decor gift!

Condition: good vintage (one bird is loose and a little shinier than other; a few spots of oxydization on lid; a crack in interior wood base; one wooden divider missing on interior; felt pad missing from bottom
