McCLELLAND BARCLAY Gold & Silver Plated Double Winged Choker Necklace

This gold-plated double winged choker is part of the McClelland Barclay patriotic series created in 1941 by the maker, Rice-Weiner & Co. Outstretched  sculpted eagles' wings decorated with smaller silver-plated wings encircle the neck. A fold-over clasp keeps the necklace securely fastened. Also available from this series is the double wing brooch, double wing cuff bracelet. All are featured in the jewellery chapter in my book.
