McCLELLAND BARCLAY Sterling Silver Art Deco Dove Brooch, Framed

McCLELLAND BARCLAY Sterling Silver Art Deco Dove Brooch, Framed

This version of McClelland Barclay sterling silver dove brooch is surrounded by a beaded frame. The dove, with its fanned feathers, has a very Art Deco look. Made between 1938 - 1943 by Rice-Weiner & Co. using a technique known as repoussé, often found in quality handmade Mexican jewellery. The same dove design is also available as a brooch without a frame, or as a sterling silver bracelet.
