McCLELLAND BARCLAY Sterling Silver Repoussé Art Deco Dove Brooch, Framed
McCLELLAND BARCLAY Sterling Silver Repoussé Art Deco Dove Brooch, Framed
This version of McClelland Barclay sterling silver dove brooch is surrounded by a beaded frame. The dove, with its fanned feathers, has a very Art Deco look. Made between 1938 - 1943 by Rice-Weiner & Co. using a technique known as repoussé, often found in quality handmade Mexican jewellery. The same dove design is also available as a brooch without a frame, or as a sterling silver bracelet.
