McCLELLAND BARCLAY Pair of Bronze Plated Abraham Lincoln Bookends

McCLELLAND BARCLAY Pair of Bronze Plated Abraham Lincoln Bookends

Even though this pair of bronze plated bookends do not bear his name, everyone recognizes the shape of the head of the 16th American president who abolished slavery: Abraham Lincoln. They were made in the 1930s by McClelland Barclay Art Products, Inc. Other bookend designs by the artist include homage to "Buddy" the original seeing-eye dog, and mythological Sisyphus, as well as animal figures of elephants, horse heads, and seashells. But only this pair of "Honest Abe" bronze-plated bookends will make a Presidential statement on your desk or bookshelf.
